The Feileadh Mor:

Considered the oldest national dress in the world - older than the Sari of India - the first written account of it's use was in 55 B.c.

Here are some photos of George MacPherson - traditional senachie of Glendale and I. The first one if him signing an autograph at the Flodigary Country House Hotel after a story telling session.

The rest are him and i trying on my feileadh mor for the first time in his living room. It's a Mackay Tartan one - it's 7 meters by two meters. It was handmade one a 150 year old loom by Sandy MacPherson (not a direct relation to George).
